An interesting video called “Eternal Peace” about memorial services for veterans of Word Ward II who survived the bombing of the USS Arizona (and were on board at that time). There have been something close to 33 memorial services on board the USS Arizona Memorial for veterans, and their ashes are laid to rest on board the ship.
If you are curious about Word War II history in the pacific, might I recommend the World War II Valor in the Pacific channel on YouTube. They have many historical videos and interviews with WW2 veterans.
For example, they have this excellent underwater view of the USS Arizona. It’s a 3 minute long video from an underwater diver showing the most interesting points of interest.
Enjoy the videos, and enjoy your trip to the USS Arizona Memorial!
